Hello, I’m Sam, the creator of Dinky Tattoo Cardiff. I specialise in cute, delicate tattoos that tell big stories in small designs.
I believe tattoos don’t need to be large to be meaningful. Often the smallest ones say the most.
My goal is to create a calm, welcoming space where every piece feels personal and uniquely yours.
When I’m not tattooing, I’m looking after my many animals, dreaming up new flash ideas, or surviving life as a boy mum.
Meet Sam
Welcome to Dinky Tattoo Studio
My studio is a cosy, judgment-free space where you can bring your ideas, no matter how small, and see them come to life. It’s a private studio, so you don’t need to worry about anyone watching your session.
Set in my garden, the studio offers a peaceful environment with plenty of parking and easy transport links.
Dinky was created with women in mind. I wanted to build a space where clients, especially women, feel safe and comfortable.
It’s a place where you can get your very first tattoo or share a matching one with your nan.
Dinky is all about making tattoos accessible, relaxed and fun for everyone. Whether it’s a tiny heart on your shoulder or your dad’s handwriting of your maiden name, anything goes.
Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about getting a tattoo, from how to prepare for your appointment to looking after your new piece while it heals.
